Ultra Music Festival announced the first wave of its 2027 Miami lineup on October 14, 2026. The festival's 27th edition runs from Friday, March 26 to Sunday, March 28, 2027, at Bayfront Park in downtown Miami. Calvin Harris, Martin Garrix, Armin van Buuren and Dom Dolla lead 25 named acts, along with two headline pairings: Marshmello b2b Subtronics and Boris Brejcha b2b Cirez D.

Who is on the first poster

Ultra calls this release Phase 1. Its official lineup page names 25 acts, and the poster adds one more slot that is still hidden behind question marks. Calvin Harris returns for the first time since his 2024 headline set, according to mxdwn and EDM House Network. He has also announced his first North American headline tour for spring 2027. Martin Garrix, Armin van Buuren, Dom Dolla and Steve Aoki are back as headliners too.

The rest of the first wave: Adam Beyer, Afrojack, Boys Noize, BUNT., DJ Pee .Wee (the DJ alias of Anderson .Paak), HOLY PRIEST, I Hate Models, Indira Paganotto, it's murph, Klangkuenstler, Liquid Stranger, Mau P and Michael Bibi, plus the pairings and special shows below. The poster says Phase 2 is "coming soon."

The pairings and debuts

A b2b (back to back) set is two DJs sharing the decks and taking turns, often a track or two each. Ultra put four on this first poster, each tagged as a debut, next to a few other firsts:

  • Marshmello b2b Subtronics: billed as a world debut. According to mxdwn, the two already surprised fans with a set together at the Shrine in Los Angeles in December 2025.
  • Boris Brejcha b2b Eric Prydz presents Cirez D: a US debut. Cirez D is the name Eric Prydz uses for his techno.
  • Afrojack: his first live set at Ultra Miami, billed as Afrojack Live.
  • Alison Wonderland b2b Tiffany Day: the pair's first festival b2b.
  • Nico Moreno b2b NOVAH: their first set together in the US.
  • Sara Landry: the US debut of Divine Intervention, a new show named after her second album. She played b2b with Amelie Lens at Ultra Miami in 2026.
  • Miss Monique presents BIORHYTHM: the US festival debut of her audiovisual show about technology and nature.
  • SOFI TUKKER presents Animal Talk: the duo plays its live show and curates the Live Stage, the first time an artist has programmed that stage in Ultra Miami's history.

Our guide on how to play back to back shows how these sets work.

Six stage takeovers

In a stage takeover, an artist or a label programs a whole stage for a day. Phase 1 lists six. Armin van Buuren's A State of Trance hosts its 15th Ultra Miami stage. Martin Garrix's label STMPD RCRDS returns for its 10th anniversary. Vini Vici's label Alteza Records brings its second psytrance showcase, and SOFI TUKKER's Animal Talk takes the Live Stage.

Mau P's Baddest Behaviour and Adam Beyer's label Drumcode complete the six. Both are first-time takeovers at Ultra Miami, on RESISTANCE, Ultra's underground house and techno brand. Michael Bibi, I Hate Models, Indira Paganotto, Miss Monique and Nico Moreno b2b NOVAH also play RESISTANCE.

Dates, venue and tickets

Ultra stays at Bayfront Park, on Biscayne Bay in downtown Miami. On April 23, 2026, Miami's city commissioners voted to keep the festival there for the next 20 years, WSVN reported.

Tickets are on sale on Ultra's ticket page. On October 17, it listed two three-day passes:

  • GA 3-Day (general admission, ages 18 and up): $479.16 at the current price tier.
  • VIP 3-Day (ages 21 and up): $2,396.03 at the current price tier.

Ultra calls both all-inclusive prices, with tax and shipping added at checkout. All sales are final, and the lineup can change.

Prices checked October 2026.

What it means for DJs

Phase 1 spans trance, big room, tech house, techno and bass, so most DJs will find a headliner in their own style. Here is where each part of the bill sits on Digger Digger, with one track for four of the headliners from our data (as of October 2026):

  • Trance & Psytrance: Armin van Buuren, his A State of Trance stage, the Alteza psytrance showcase and Indira Paganotto, whose sound blends techno and psytrance. Armin's "The Sound of Goodbye (Armin's Tribal Feel Mix)" was found in 321 recorded DJ sets, second only to Tiësto's "Adagio for Strings" in our Trance & Psytrance crate.
  • Dance Pop & Festival Hits: Calvin Harris. His "Promises" with Sam Smith, in the Sonny Fodera Remix, was found in 267 recorded DJ sets, the most of any track in our Dance Pop crate.
  • Tech House: Dom Dolla, Mau P and Michael Bibi. Dom Dolla's "San Frandisco" was found in 102 recorded DJ sets in our Tech House crate.
  • Dubstep & Bass: Subtronics, Marshmello and Liquid Stranger. "Lock In" by Subtronics and Wooli was found in 47 recorded DJ sets in our Dubstep & Bass crate.
  • Techno: Adam Beyer, Sara Landry, I Hate Models, Klangkuenstler, Nico Moreno and HOLY PRIEST. Our Techno crate has a Drumcode section and a hard techno section where most of these names sit.
  • Melodic House & Techno: Boris Brejcha and Miss Monique, both with tracks in our Melodic House & Techno crate.
  • Big Room & Mainstage: Martin Garrix, Afrojack and Steve Aoki. Garrix and his label have a section of their own in our Big Room & Mainstage crate.
